Product Summary of Beryllium Copper
This high strength (after heat treatment) copper alloy can contain 0.5 to 3% beryllium and sometimes other alloying elements. It has excellent metal working, forming and machining characteristics, is also non-magnetic and non sparking. This makes this alloy particularly suitable for tools used where explosive vapours and gases are present, such as on oil rigs.
